What we do

Kingston Bereavement Service was established in 1988 and remains committed to supporting children, young people, adults and families who have been bereaved.

We offer individual counselling to anyone living, working or studying in Kingston upon Thames or is registered with a GP in Kingston and is provided by a team of around 40 trained volunteer counsellors, supported by experienced supervisors. It takes place in our dedicated counselling rooms in Canbury Park Road, Kingston, or in other suitable venues, including clients' homes.

Find out more about our adult service or Saying Goodbye Project, our children and young people's service.

We also support and offer bespoke training for health, social and education professionals and local employers to help them develop their understanding of the bereavement process and its impact.

If you would like to find out more about Kingston Bereavement Service, or feel you would benefit from receiving support from one of our counsellors, please do contact us.
